• smart anything! why do all our appliances needs apps? Airfryer, weighing scale, smart lights…
• loyalty programs for literally every single business
• seven hundred Authenticator apps
• train apps for tickets (e.g., MTA VS CT rail vs Amtrak) – why don’t we have ONE APP with all routes and rail companies?
• airlines forcing you to download their app to access inflight WiFi
It’s coercion atp

Meanwhile these tech companies are filling up our storage with so much OS data for features we did not ask for! So we have to keep deleting/offloading apps to make space for the next app
.
And the apps have little to no data privacy and protections!

Bring back browser-based apps!
